Here is a little known fact, one that many websites and even Al Gore (An Inconvenient Truth) didn’t talk about. If you ate a plant based diet, you would save so much water, that you could leave your shower on, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year and still save more water for the planet compared to a person having meat. A plant based diet is now accepted to be vastly superior for the human body than a meat based diet



The tremendous amount of resources needed to create meat translates therefore into billions of tons of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere…



Finally while you are combating global warming, by choosing to eat green, you also stand up for the meekest and smallest amongst us. Those helpless animals with no voice and no choice at all…



So at every meal, each person can make a greener, healthier, more humane choice: Eating vegetarian food!

Nirmal laughed when I told him over phone "Yaar mujhe toh Dinesh Bhaiya se hi shaadi karni hai, par woh ghar par rahenge hi nahi"

This must be around 2007 feb when I attended my first YES!++ with Bhaiya.

Now, Its just that every girl who meets him hears a prayer inside her go.."God please, bas I have found him , let him be the one for me, let me please have him for life. God please, God please,

this is it."

And she ends up smiling with all her heart when she hears that he is already married... "To the Divine" :-)

I have quite a lot pictures of Dinesh Bhaiya and he looks good in all of them . However when I observed him this january in the Ashram, standing, talking to someone, I realised no words,

no photos, nothing absolutely nothing can do justice to his charm.

Even this post will fail miserably at trying to describe what I wish to, but I so want to share this with all of you.

Again and again one word comes to mind - charm, divine, absolutely divine, like something so delicate yet perfect, like a ray of light, something that will ALWAYS escape my understanding

You know the experience.. we all have experienced it, the assurance in the arms of a friend, or the peace in the all knowing smile of a loved one ....You get what I am saying?
Now take Something that beautiful and transform it into a form/ a being and that is "Dinesh Bhaiya".
So ,
what is it that makes him what he is. I think one of the first posts on this blog is me looking for the answer :-)

So Who is Dinesh Bhaiya, this magic, this charm, this space,.... as deep as I want to go into this enquiry it brings me back to the beginning ...who are you bhawana...
and it all stops right there. Full stop and all I can do is smile :-)

Afoo Khudaaa

It must be 1st year college(2005). Its difficult remembering years you know, because I topped all three.
hehe anyways!
And my best friend gave me a gift with this tag on the wrapper !
Now when I saw this, I knew I had to preserve it, not only for the feeling it carried but also because I knew this would come true very soon.

Yesterday celebrating my niece's 4rth birthday I knew life is perfect! I have all the world's Riches..happiness...Every heart's Love

Went back my memory and I cannot even begin to pen down the beauty of the love I have experienced. There are so so so many excellent incidences/experiences/ memories I have had that it can not seriously be penned down in a day.
And the best part is they still continue..

Five fingers come together to form a fist. Fight. Fight against terror. Stand united.
All cliches. Overused.
Lets look at them though!
I seldom read the newspaper, front page pictures of terrorist activities, human skin ripped, people weeping, blood, Pain, children dying, poverty, wounds, hunger .
One image is sufficient to introduce you to depression, your inability, blaming God or whosoever it is, who could change things, transform them...make everything alright.

So who is it who's gonna do it! God? Who is God. I will tell you who is God. Generator Operator Destroyer.
Energy.
Who are you? Energy

Now the point is If you want to lead a fulfilling life, you will have to take action!

I don't ask you or me to go with guns and shoot down the terrorists. No, this is not even expected of us.

I ask you to Live. That's it
Look at your lives, what are your problems, girl/boyfriend, relationship with parents, family, money, carrier, progeny, what?
Seriously. tell me, tell yourself.
I am not denouncing your emotional problems, I fully understand that and also am aware of the fact that 70% of the suicides that place in the youth who can "afford" life.
Personally I don't even care if you live.
Their is no "solid" problem. You have all your needs fulfilled..
The rest is your desires. Right?
And the only way you can have all your desires "fulfilled" is by sharing what you have with the less fortunate.

I don't know how you are going to do it. Start an NGO, work with one, Donate your time, money, knowledge/education, volunteer, ..There are soo many ways and there is soo much good in this World. Meet people. Share ideas. Live life to the fullest.
The media, is not focusing on the positive news, because people don't enjoy that kinda news. Understand the mind. The mind feeds on negativity. Negativity spreads and thats all some of us wish to receive and ultimately get that and then sometimes wonder where did that come from. Turn the vicious circle into a Virtuous circle.


Now, back to the point, how to revolt against terror?

Start with the Basic unit- You !
Revolt against terror, inside of you. In clearer terms, understand who you are , what you are, your needs, what do you want, your goal.
Yes, it is all about YOU
You know your there is a whole world of feeling, emotions, thoughts operating with in your finite body?
Yes, find peace there, fill yourself up with love!
You don't need to look outside. I promise :-)
Now, spread.
Touch everyone with your presence. I know most of us, are already doing that. You readers, are all awesome, beautiful, funny minds, ...I know that.

Then basic family, siblings, parents, uncles, aunts, relatives, neighbours, friends, go on, then your country men , then the world . We are one big family. Its science. Read A Brief History of nearly Everything by Bill Bryson.
Touch lives. Not because I say or because people need you but because YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!
To lead a fulfilling life , you have to be natural, you have to be yourself. The best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in the service of others. "others" and soon you will find there is no other. There is only YOU.

We guys, already have everything,
Yet at the same time all of us are fighting our own battles. So be more kind to everyone than necessary, for everyone is fighting a battle!

Understand yourself and you shall understand everyone. Love moves the world. You know it . Look around !


These are words that I have used. Don't get caught up in them. Knowledge is a double edged sword. Be sensitive enough to listen to yourself. You have all the answers
